We have offices located in Milwaukie off Highway 224, close to the I-205 freeway, and in Gresham (Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center) close to Mt. Hood Community College. All of our physicians serve in either staff positions, or administrative roles, at local area hospitals and surgery centers. They have special relationships with East Portland Surgery Center, Providence Milwaukie Hospital, Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center, and Mount Scott Surgery Center.

This is a review for east side orthopedics and Mt Scott surgery center, as I worked with the same people at both locations. Entire staff was phenomenal from the receptionist to the nurses to the anesthesiologist to the doctors. Very friendly and professional. Feel very fortunate I had my surgery done there. Dr.Bret Kean and physicians assistant, Heather are excellent at what they do.

This group is small but they seem to really care about their patients. This is the first time I needed surgery. But Dr G took care of my broken ankle and the hardest part of the process has been trying to not push too hard because I trying to get back to playing basketball. He called me the day after surgery to make sure I was doing ok. I'd definitely go back in the future for any injury. But hopefully I never see them again.

I have a young athlete who plays a contact sport since he was very small and grew extremely fast. This team has taken care of him for over four years. They took a "least invasive - best result" approach considering he was still growing. I've dealt with Dr. Kean and Heather about my torn left knee. They couldn't be nicer!! I have bone on bone issues that can't be fixed, but they were honest about it and went that extra step to show me different ways to compensate, so that I wouldn't be in much pain. My visit with Dr. Gupta was great! I’ve seen him twice, once for a broken wrist and once for a mallet finger and he was so caring and thorough and took his time explaining everything to me. He really helped ease my concerns and I felt very confident after seeing him. My results couldn’t have been better too and I’m back to doing everything I want to do. A wonderful experience, I have a new life! – My experience with Dr Matthew Sugalski was the best. He is easy to talk to, answers all questions readily, was sensitive to my concerns with a gentle bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him without a second of hesitation. Dr Sugalski and the staff at Providence Milwaukie Hospital were fabulous to me and took very good care before, during and after my three surgeries. I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and a total hip replacement, all very successful. The whole team follows up and check on you to make sure they have done all they can to help you have a successful experience.
