EASTSIDE ORTHOPEDICS AND SPORTS MEDINCE – COVID-19 NOTICE – LETTER TO PATIENTS

Dear Valued Patients,

We want to reach out with an update on what Eastside Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is doing to support you as our community navigates the personal implications of COVID-19. Serving the needs of our patients in a safe manner is of the utmost importance to us. Here are some of the preventative measures we are taking to ensure your safety.

We have augmented our cleaning procedures to include increasing frequency of cleanings, we have increased sanitation practices throughout the day including cleaning office and medical equipment.  Hand sanitizer is also available to patients throughout the day.

For the safety of all patients and our staff members, we are screening patients at the front desk and deferring appointments for the following reasons:

• If you have any symptoms of respiratory illness, including fever, cough or difficulty breathing
• If you have been in contact with someone with known or suspected Coronavirus (COVID-19)
• If you have visited or been in close contact with anyone who has visited countries in the last 14 days that the CDC declares high risk of infection spread

We are recommending that people stay home if they have a fever, cough, or mild headache until feeling well and free of symptoms for at least 24 hours. We have started offering telephone and virtual appointments as well. We want to assure you that we are here to respond to your needs and concerns.
